THE JOB: As a Business Development and Marketing Advisor, you will play a crucial role in implementing the BDM strategy of the Luxembourg office. You will support the BDM team and work closely with partners and lawyers. This exciting opportunity involves a wide range of business development, marketing, and communications activities. Key Responsibilities: Business Development • Collaborate with BD Manager to shape and implement broader BDM plans that align with the firm's global strategy. • Champion and use tools like Salesforce to log and track BD activities, ensuring the accuracy and accessibility of critical client information. • Lead the creation of tailored client-facing materials, ensuring alignment to brand guidelines and pitching best practices. Marketing • Oversee the planning and evaluation of in-person and virtual client events such as seminars, webinars, and conferences, including post-event reporting and feedback analysis. • Assist in maintaining and updating practice and sector-specific content on internal and external platforms, such as lawyer biographies, credentials, and website sections. • Promote the practice's profile, ensuring consistency in messaging. • Monitor and measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and initiatives, reporting on outcomes to identify areas for improvement. Communications • Provide input into the firm's internal and external communications, ensuring alignment between business development objectives and communication efforts. • Support effective internal communication initiatives, contributing to cross-departmental knowledge sharing and promoting BDM best practices. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in business development and marketing, with excellent project management and communication skills. THE CANDIDATE PROFILE: • Graduated with a degree in Marketing, business development, communication or any related field; • Ideally 3 to 4 years' experience in a business development and/or a marketing environment as well as experience in a professional financial services firm or a law firm • Fluent in English • Exceptional oral and written communication skills • Organised and able to manage complex projects that require strong interpersonal skills and critical and analytical thinking • Knowledge of a variety of client relation management best practices to support the business • Able to work in a highly demanding/dynamic environment under tight deadlines • A team player who can work independently as well as collaboratively in a highly cross-functional environment • Excellent MS Office skills and knowledge of Canva • Community management experience would be an asset THE CLIENT: Our client is a human-size and multicultural law firm based in Luxembourg.
