Description: Trade Documentation Specialist Luxembourg Job Description ArcelorMittal Mining is seeking a detailed-oriented and well-organized Trade Documentation Specialist. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, oversee the accurate preparation and processing of trade-related documents, and facilitate smooth communication between internal departments and external stakeholders, including customs, freight forwarders, and banking institutions. Key Responsibilities: • Prepare and review trade documents related such as invoices, certificate of analysis, weight, origins, and others • Review and validate letter of credit to ensure compliance with international trade policies and agreed contractual terms • Prepare presentations under export letter of credits • Issue required purchase-sale related documentation and to maintain the related database for each vessel shipped • Maintain sale/purchase, freight, and demurrage database • Coordinate the related workflows with Back Office - Auditors - Accounting – Assets - Shipping • Active involvement in the monthly closing finance tasks. Education & Technical competencies: Education • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. • CPA, CFA, or other relevant professional qualifications preferred. • Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance, with a focus on trade finance in an international environment. • Strong understanding of international financial reporting standards and trading regulations. • Experience in managing cross-border financial operations and dealing with multi-currency transactions. • Experience on bulk commodity trade. Skills • Good knowledge in general accounting and in UCP 600 & ISBP. • Excellent understanding of trading operations (logistic, import/export operations understanding), financial risk management, and compliance. • Excellent understanding of Letter of Credit. • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel, ERP systems, SAP and business intelligence tools. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with senior management and cross-functional teams. • Highly analytical with strong attention to detail. • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think strategically. • Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. • Ability to adapt to changing business needs and priorities. • Fluent English, French would be a plus given the international nature of the business.
