The Role: • Oversee the daily financial activities for the Group's entities, reporting directly to the Director • Ensure all accounting operations and internal deadlines are achieved, and assist in team performance reviews. • Work closely with the treasury function. • Supervise and coordinate finance team involvement in transactions such as acquisitions, onboarding of new assets, disposals, restructurings, and refinancing, ensuring accurate and timely execution. • Take responsibility for accounting and administrative tasks, including reviewing and preparing bookkeeping for a portfolio of companies (bank transactions, invoice accruals, payments, loan and hedge schedules). • Oversee the processing and reconciliation of multi-currency transactions and loan repayments. • Review and prepare annual financial statements under Lux GAAP and IFRS. • Lead and coordinate audit processes, acting as the primary point of contact for auditors. • Oversee the preparation and review of budgets and cash flow forecasts. • Supervise accounts payable activities, ensuring timely processing and execution of weekly payment runs. • Ensure monthly bank and credit card reconciliations are completed, reviewed, and finalized. • Review and prepare balance sheet and intercompany reconciliations. • Collaborate with the Head of Tax to review supporting documentation for tax filings. • Oversee the preparation and review of monthly management reports for the fund. • Foster strong collaboration and workflow within the finance team. • Manage relationships with external service providers, auditors, and regulatory bodies. • Review BCL (Banque Centrale du Luxembourg) regulatory reporting. Your Profile: • Minimum of 8–10 years' experience in the Luxembourg financial sector, with at least 2–3 years in a senior role. • Strong background in accounting, bookkeeping, and financial statement preparation in Luxembourg. • Deep understanding of Lux GAAP, IFRS, and local financial reporting requirements. • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word); experience with Power BI, Yooz, or Xero is considered an asset. • Demonstrated ability to grow and develop within a human-sized company. • Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills. • Flexible and adaptable, able to respond effectively to evolving business needs. • Team-oriented with a positive attitude and hands-on approach. • Fluency in English is essential; knowledge of French is an advantage. • IFRS expertise is an additional asset.
