The Compliance Function works closely with the individual business units and group control functions to ensurecompliance with local and international laws and regulations applicable to Deutsche Börse Group and its businessactivities. The Compliance Function has a proactive role in the identification of possible regulatory or reputationalrisks, including those that may arise in connection with new activities and products. Compliance Function works incollaboration with Group Compliance which is responsible for defining group-wide compliance minimum applicablerequirements, supports their uniform application within the group entities, and provides centralised services toprevent money laundering and terrorist financing, international financial sanctions, other criminal offences, dataprotection, and the prevention of conflict of interests or market abuse. The successful candidate will play a crucialrole in ensuring our organization adheres to all relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies. This positioninvolves also maintaining a robust compliance framework, conducting regular and ad-hoc reporting, providingadvice to business and managing a comprehensive legal inventory. Your responsibilities: Reviewing client profiles at on-boarding to ensure conformity to AML/KYC policy/ standards, producing clientdocument requirements and due diligence analysis Performs regular and ad-hoc compliance-related reviews of client files Reviewing Fund acceptance at on-boarding to ensure conformity to AML/KYC policy/ standards, producing clientdocument requirements and due diligence analysis Alerts discounting management and oversight Supporting business on incoming due diligence and advise on Compliance matters Your profile: University degree in law, finance or a relevant comparable qualification preferable. 1 year experience in the Compliance (2nd line of defence) function or similar field (Audit, Control, Legal etc.). Knowledge in AML, KYC, Other Criminal Offences / Fraud, Prevention of Market abuse. Ability to cope with tight deadlines and handle multiple priorities whilst being solution driven and client focused Communication and negotiation skills Strong individual initiative, pro-activity, high level commitment and motivation Excellent command of spoken and written English; French and German are a plus Deutsche Börse Group embraces an international climate, whereby diversity is universal.
