Vaski Group is seeking a Lead Electrical Engineer to work with highly automated production line solutions for Pivatic's sheet metal processing products in Hyvinkää, Finland.
Main Tasks
Responsible for the electrical design of production line solutions, including designing electrical control panels (cabinets) and field wiring.
Prepare electrical drawings for production and select sensors and components.
Carry out electrical and safety design using EPLAN.
Conduct risk assessments and troubleshoot electrical issues.
Contribute to international customer-specific delivery and modernization projects.
Provide technical coordination and guidance for colleagues and internal stakeholders (approx. 20% of the role).
Act as the internal go-to expert for electrical engineering matters and ensure knowledge sharing.
Manage direct responsibility for one Electrical Engineer, with potential for team growth.
Requirements
Technical education in electrical engineering or a related field.
A few years of hands-on experience in electrical design for industrial machinery, equipment, and/or production lines.
Good understanding of control panels (cabinets), field wiring, and machinery safety fundamentals.
Independent and systematic working approach with strong problem-solving skills.
Willingness to take on broader technical responsibility.
Good communication skills in English for collaboration in an international environment.
Assets
Experience using EPLAN for electrical design.
Knowledge of Siemens components and industrial automation solutions.
Experience with pneumatics, motion control, or mechatronic systems.
Finnish language skills.

Contract: Full-time, permanent direct employment by Vaski Group.
Location: Primarily based at Pivatic's Hyvinkää facilities (on-site at least a couple of days per week).
Travel: Occasional travel to Seinäjoki (potentially monthly) and limited international travel (approx. 1–2 trips per year).
