Project Engineer – Electrical and Automation

Role and Responsibilities
We are looking for a Project Engineer for our client in the manufacturing industry. In this role, you will be responsible for executing and coordinating automation engineering activities for Engine Power Plants, contributing to sustainable energy solutions.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute the control system hardware design for Engine Power plants.
• Serve as a technical reference for the project team, suppliers and customers.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, project team members, customers representatives and other stakeholders to reach project targets.
• Contribute to professional and cost-effective project execution in line with contract specifications, budget, quality standards, and safety requirements.

Background and Requirements

• B.Sc. or M.Sc. in electrical or automation engineering.
• Relevant knowledge of power plant automation hardware design.
• Experience of using CAD tools.
• Experience of using engineering tool E3 is an advantage.
• Knowledge in medium voltage protection functions.
• Fluent written and spoken Finnish or Swedish, in addition English skills are required.
• Knowledge in piston engine driven power plant automation systems are seen as an advantage.
• Experience of PLC systems is an advantage.
• Site experience is an advantage.

Assignment Details

• Allocation: 100%
• Assignment start date: As soon as a suitable candidate is identified
• Assignment end date: 12 month contract to begin with, very likely to continue
