The opportunity Hitachi Energy is looking for a HR Business Partner for Grid Automation business unit in Vaasa, Finland. In this role, you will ensure that all HR policies and procedures are implemented in line with the global HR strategy and local regulations. You will provide advice, guidance, and support to a variety of stakeholders. You will work in a vibrant international environment, being the counterpart of Line Managers located in different countries. How you'll make an impact - Implement HR priorities in the organization in line with the global HR strategy, covering culture, people, and organization utilizing the existing HR solution portfolio and be able to propose new solutions where appropriate. - Act as a business partner and facilitator to business, supporting managers and employees through organizational changes. - Collaborate with managers on performance and talent management activities. - Engage with employees and managers on a variety of HR topics. - Act as Program Manager for specific European Projects. Your background - Masters degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Law or similar. - The role requires some years of experience in human resources supporting teams in Finland ideally within a fast-paced global organization. - Excellent business understanding, negotiation and influencing skills as well as change management. - Deep knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations in Finland. - Knowledge and expertise related to HR policies in Finland, processes and practices of Compensation and Benefits, Recruitment and Onboarding, Performance Management and Global Mobility. - Leadership without authority; proven ability to build positive relationships with multiple stakeholders at all levels of the organization. - Credibility and recognition of ethical behaviors. - Excellent communication skills in English and Finnish.
