The opportunity We are looking for a HR Specialist at Hitachi Energy in Vaasa. As a core member of the HR, you will be responsible for delivering HR Service support to the HR community, business managers and employees. Reporting to the HR Operations Team Lead, you will provide a high level of support for internal customers, with accurate and timely processing of information for all stakeholders. This is a fixed-term position for 12 months. How You'll Make an Impact -Execute and deliver assigned services to the HR community, managers and employees in compliance with all standard operating policies and other procedures in place, and according to defined Service Level Agreement(s). -Communicate information within the HR Operations team and to other stakeholders regarding progress of assigned processes. -Record and manage incoming employee enquiries in an appropriate IT system (ticket tool). Perform data entry into appropriate systems as necessary for assigned HR Services. -Prepare information and documentation for internal and/or external third parties. -Recommend enhancements and simplification of existing processes and procedures based on feedback and experience with customers. Your background -Master's or bachelors degree in HR, Economics or related fields. -Previous experience in HR Operation and /or payroll. -Strong experience in MS Excel and HR systems. -Data analysis and ability to deal with complex organization. -Excellent written and verbal communication skills both in Finnish and English. -Customer service mind-set and a proactive way of working. -Readiness to learn quickly and adapt to changing environment. -Ability to move in an international environment and balancing different stakeholders
