HR Specialist
The opportunity We are looking for a Payroll Specialist to join our team at Hitachi Energy in Vaasa. As a key member of the local HR team, you will provide essential payroll support services, managing various payroll matters within our processes. While the actual payroll processing is outsourced to an external provider, you will ensure the accuracy of payroll data and reports. Reporting to the HR Operations Team Lead, you will be responsible for the precise and timely financial processing of payroll information for all stakeholders. Your role will be vital in delivering high-quality payroll support to our internal employees. This is a fixed-term position for 12 months. How You'll Make an Impact - Manage payroll processing for employees in Finland, ensuring compliance with local laws, CBAs and company policies in collaboration with our payroll vendor. - Maintain payroll data integrity and resolve discrepancies promptly. - Provide payroll-related reports as needed. - Respond to payroll-related queries from employees and stakeholders. Your background - Proven experience in payroll operations in Finland. - Strong knowledge of Finnish labour laws and Technology Industries Collective Agreements. - Proficiency in payroll and time systems and MS Office tools. - Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills. - Ability to work independently and communicate effectively in Finnish and English.
