Data Platform Engineer (Data Advisor)

We are looking for a (Senior) Data Platform Engineer to help our clients design, build, and develop modern data platforms. In this role, also referred to as Data Advisor, you will work with colleagues and customer teams on impactful projects, playing a key role in developing data-driven solutions.

What you'll bring:

• Several years of hands-on experience as a Data Engineer (or similar) with a strong understanding of modern data technologies and architectures.
• Proven experience in designing and building end-to-end data pipelines.
• Experience working with modern data warehouses and data platforms.
• Proficiency in data modelling and applying best practices.
• Ability to contribute to data architecture-level solutions.
• Ability to take ownership, make technical decisions, and communicate fluently in Finnish and English.

We also value:

• Experience with Power BI and analytics consumption patterns.
• Understanding of data governance and security.

Your Technical Playfield:

• Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, or Snowflake (at least one).
• Readiness to adopt Microsoft Fabric as a primary platform if not already experienced.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure (e.g., Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure SQL).
• Knowledge of modern data modelling methodologies.

Contract Details:

• Direct hire.
• Expected compensation is within the range of 4500-6500 €/month, discussed during the recruitment process based on the company's salary model.
