In this role, you will be an integral part of product development, turning concepts into reality through testing, prototyping, and lab verification. You will join an engineering organization where you will collaborate closely with a hardware-focused technical lead and an experienced network team of around four professionals, alongside a wider shared laboratory environment of roughly ten development engineers.

This position is well-suited for a recent graduate or an engineer in the early stages of their career who enjoys laboratory measurements, hardware prototyping, and focused, analytical work, and has some experience working in a laboratory environment.

Work tasks

  • Laboratory Testing & Verification: Plan, assemble, and execute test setups for new hardware innovations, ensuring designs meet performance and reliability targets.
  • Prototyping & Proof of Concepts: Assist in turning proof-of-concept designs into tangible prototypes, building custom test cables, and validating component samples.
  • Hardware Measurements: Utilize standard electronic laboratory equipment to measure signals, debug boards, and evaluate hardware integrity.
  • Exploring New Technologies: Support the team in evaluating emerging hardware components, network device technologies, and connectivity standards.
  • Technical Documentation: Systematically log test methodologies, results, and measurement data to support subsequent development iterations and compliance.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics Engineering.
  • Experience: Some relevant experience. Fresh graduates with a strong hands-on orientation from studies, practical training, or personal hobby projects are encouraged to apply.
  • Lab Familiarity: Practical experience with standard electronics laboratory tools and measurement instrumentation.
  • Network & Connectivity Hardware: Foundational knowledge or strong interest in hardware-level network technologies.
  • Working Style: Highly focused, structured, and comfortable working independently on technical problems with minimal distraction.
  • Language Skills: Professional working proficiency in English.

Considered an Advantage

  • Familiarity with embedded systems or microcontroller-based test setups.
  • Practical soldering, rework, or cable-assembly skills for prototype builds.
  • Prior exposure to optical fiber testing or network device hardware testing.
