Verification Lead

We are seeking a Verification Lead to take ownership of verification and validation activities for advanced power electronics solutions. You will work closely with R&D and testing teams throughout the product development lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate verification and testing activities across internal and external test facilities.
• Plan, execute, and oversee R&D and certification testing for new product developments.
• Support troubleshooting and root cause analysis for hardware and software performance.
• Collaborate with engineering teams, certification specialists, and external stakeholders to ensure compliance and product quality.
• Drive continuous improvement of testing and verification processes.

Requirements:

• B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Experience in the design, development, or testing of power electronic systems (e.g., frequency converters, drives, or similar industrial equipment).
• Understanding of relevant product safety standards and verification methodologies.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional and international teams.
• Strong communication skills and an interest in mentoring and sharing knowledge.
• Fluent Finnish and English language skills.
• Proactive and solution-oriented approach.

Considered an Advantage:

• Knowledge of testing laboratory requirements and accreditation practices.
• Experience with project coordination or project management.
• Broad understanding of power conversion technologies and industrial drive systems.

Work Conditions:

• Location: Helsinki region (hybrid model).
• Allocation: 100%.
• Duration: 12 months.
• Start: As soon as possible.
• Note: This position is only open to individuals already residing in Finland; relocation is not possible.
