Lead Electrical Engineer - Data Centers

Compute Nordic is seeking a Lead Electrical Engineer to shape the electrical infrastructure for next-generation AI and hyperscale data centers. In this role, you will serve as the technical authority for electrical systems within complex, mission-critical projects, ensuring high-quality solutions from concept development through to commissioning.

Your responsibilities include:

• Leading the development and coordination of electrical systems for data center projects.
• Providing technical expertise for HV, MV, and LV power distribution solutions.
• Supporting UPS, backup power, energy storage, and utility connection solutions.
• Reviewing and approving technical documentation, designs, and engineering deliverables.
• Leading testing, commissioning, and factory acceptance activities.
• Acting as the primary technical point of contact for key stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Approximately 10+ years of experience in electrical engineering and critical infrastructure projects.
• Experience in data centers or other mission-critical industries (e.g., power generation, energy, utilities, process industries, or EPC projects).
• Strong knowledge of electrical distribution systems and power infrastructure.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary and international stakeholders.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
