If As a chef, you are the culinary heart of our restaurant. You will combine in-depth knowledge of traditional Chinese cuisine with strong management skills to lead daily kitchen operations, innovate and ensure the highest quality standards. You'll be responsible for everything from menu development to financial management and team leadership. Core responsibilities Culinary Innovation & Management: You will draw up the authentic Chinese menus and recipes, calculate the cost prices and guarantee the quality of the dishes. Team and Operations Management: You lead the kitchen team (scheduling, recruitment, coaching) and ensure a flawless service in collaboration with the room. Quality, Hygiene & Purchasing: You will strictly enforce HACCP standards, control the freshness of all products, and manage procurement and supplier selection (including specialized Asian products). Finance & Specialization: You will monitor the kitchen budget (food cost/margin) and master the specific Chinese techniques for creating diverse and special menus. In addition to your mastery of traditional Chinese techniques, the following skills are a huge asset for our team: Master of Texture: You have mastered the art of Asian cuisine to perfection. Knowledge of making noodles and the finesse of Sushi is a big plus! Flexibility is the Key: You are a team player and understand that the best moments (and the busiest shifts!) take place in the weekend. You are therefore willing to serve our guests at these peak times. Language bridge: Knowledge of the basics of Dutch, Knowledge of English or Chinese is a plus point.
