Operations Controller, Helsinki

Tasks

• Monitor and develop metrics for operational performance and actively follow costs.
• Support, challenge, and advise GBS management to ensure operations and services are provided in the most efficient and cost-effective locations.
• Develop a controlling framework enabling GBS management to define targets for efficiency, performance improvements, and quality.
• Control the GBS function in Finland, Sweden, and Poland.
• Design GBS process measurements with process owners, setting targets and reports to support decision-making.
• Coordinate and instruct GBS managers in budgeting and forecasting processes and follow up on costs.
• Communicate and collaborate with business stakeholders on controlling matters.
• Deep dive into financial performance, optimize operational costs, and refine financial processes within a global environment.
• Develop and implement financial frameworks, provide strategic insights, and support management decisions across multi-country operations.

Requirements

• Degree in economics, preferably accounting or industrial management.
• Strong experience working in finance and controlling.
• Experience in controlling operations or functions (e.g. IT, HR, Supply Chain).
• Excellent IT skills and experience with tools such as Excel, PowerBi, and SAP.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Proactive, analytical, and systematic way of working.

Preferred

• Fluency in English, Finnish and Swedish is an advantage.
