Loimu Resort is a small, family-owned resort located in Ylläs, Lapland. Our restaurant focuses on high-quality ingredients, clean flavors, and carefully prepared dishes. In the kitchen, we create seasonal à la carte food. Ylläs offers excellent conditions for combining work and free time. Nature begins right outside the door, and daily life is shaped by the changing seasons and the opportunities they bring to be active outdoors. In winter, cross-country ski trails and ski slopes are close by; in summer, hiking routes, cycling, and fell landscapes define the surroundings. We are looking for a Kitchen Manager / Head Chef to join our kitchen team in a permanent, full-time position. Job duties The role includes à la carte food preparation as well as overall responsibility for the daily operation of the kitchen. You will be responsible for ingredient ordering, smooth kitchen operations, and developing and adjusting the menu according to the season. We expect you to have Experience working in an à la carte kitchen and the ability to take responsibility for kitchen operations. We value good communication skills, a team-oriented mindset in a small working group, a practical approach, and the ability to organize daily work and move things forward.
