We are seeking service-minded professionals to join our front-of-house team for the 2026 summer season. Restaurant Metsä is the sister restaurant to the Michelin-guide Le Ankka in Helsinki, led by Restaurateur and Executive Chef Ilkka Lääveri. We bring a world-class culinary experience to the historic shores of Lake Saimaa, and we need top-tier servers to complete the journey. Role & Responsibilities: High-End Service: You will provide professional and warm table service, ensuring that every guest feels the unique "Saimaa hospitality" combined with high standards. Product Expertise: You will be expected to master our "locally sourced to table" menu and present our curated wine and beverage selection with confidence and passion. International Teamwork: You will work as part of a diverse, international team where clear communication and mutual respect are the keys to our success during the busy summer months. Atmosphere Management: While our standards are high, we take pride in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. Your role is to balance professional precision with a warm, approachable personality. What We Expect From You: Proven Experience: You have previous experience in high-quality restaurant service. You are comfortable with multi-course menus and wine service. Adaptability & Pace: Summer at Punkaharju is intense. You enjoy the "rush" of a fully booked house and can maintain your focus and elegance under pressure. Language Skills: Fluent English is required for our international clientele. Proficiency in Finnish is considered a significant advantage. Professional References: We require contact details for at least one professional reference from a previous employer. Work Permit: You must hold a valid work permit for Finland at the time of application. Why Join Us?
