Restaurant Manager
We are seeking iron-clad culinary professionals to join our team for the 2026 summer season. Restaurant Metsä is the sister restaurant of the Michelin-guide Le Ankka in Helsinki, led by Restaurateur and Executive Chef Ilkka Lääveri. We bring the same uncompromising quality and ambition to the shores of Lake Saimaa, set in the heart of Finlands most beautiful national landscape. Role & Responsibilities: Station Management: You will be responsible for your designated station (e.g., garde manger, saucier, or entremetier), including mise-en-place and ensuring the quality of all dishes according to our high standards. Domestic Ingredients: You will work with Finlands finest seasonal produce. Our kitchens core is a locally sourced to table philosophy: we work with passion using all local ingredients. Quality Control: You will ensure that every plate leaving the kitchen represents the shared brand excellence of Le Ankka and Restaurant Metsä, even during peak service hours. What We Expect From You: Fine Dining Experience: You possess strong technical skills and an understanding of the demands of high-level restaurant operations. Seasonal Adaptability: You understand the reality of seasonal restaurant work. Summer in Punkaharju is intense and fast-paced – we expect the ability to maintain focus and a positive attitude even under a fully booked house. Team Player: A season is a team sport.
