RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for technical and operational duties and the efficient and smooth operation of the activity the Theatre (Operating Box office included). Responsible for maintaining order in the facility and fixing problems when they occur. Ensure liaison and communication with MWB Activities / Chievres / external companies / customers for all matters of Performing Arts Centre operations. Primary source of lighting and scenic design/construction Provide technical expertise, instruction, support for all performances. Assist the Entertainment Director with Performing Arts School programming administratively and artistically as required. Collect, control, check and prepare required documents. Maintaint equipment, maintain safety sheets, organise and maintain data bases updated including the management of ERP ensuring all tools are updated with all data useful for MWB. Assist with the collection, counting, recording and depositing of cash. MAJOR DUTIES: Responsible for lighting and scenic design. Set construction, Equipment Maintenance. General administrative duties to support the activity related to day-to-day administrative tasks. Assist the Chain of Command with information related to budget preparation. Identify and report to the supervisor any deviance detected. Assist the Entertainment Director with US staff recruitment in compliance with the process established and internal rules Building management. Staff/Volunteer management (SHAPE Members dependants - volunteers - LWS cleaner functions and Temps) to ensure volunteer/employee duties are carried out in accordance with internal rules, directives and guidelines. Preparation, parametrization, collection, count, reconciliation and records cash registers with a minimum of cash and enough coins/currency. Prepare all related documentation required for accounting in compliance with Directives and internal process. Daily check of petty cash and trunk. Supervise the execution of maintenance duties and ensure the security of the building, its cleanliness and compliance with the Health & Safety guidelines. Manages all supplies / equipment required for the general business and theatre operations. Controls rental and checkout of theatrical equipment and supplies. Responsible for collecting payment, processing invoices and contractual services or equipment, tracking delinquent payments, sending reminders, and notifying the Entertainment Director of overdue accounts. Maintain update databases for the continuity of the business and support by documentation and assisting all development projects for the activity. Assists with the Entertainment program for the SHAPE Fest event. Contribute to fluid communication between the Entertainment Director and the staff. Manages all supplies / equipment required to run the general business and theatre operations. Controls rental and checkout of theatrical equipment and supplies. Provide technical assistance during performances and rehearsals including the set-up and operation of sets, lighting, costumes, sound, and all production requirements. Reports to the Entertainment Director all issues detected or fixed or latent issues to be fixed.
