Welcome to Caritas! Our Finance & IT Department plays a central role in our organisation. It gives a financial, accounting and IT support to our whole staff in our different workplaces. To strengthen this department, we are looking for a Digital Transformation Coordinator. Your work will directly support our mission of serving vulnerable populations both in Belgium and abroad by ensuring our internal systems are as impactful as our operational actions. You define the IT strategy, the priorities and resources needed to have a robust and optimized IT environment, with the Finance & IT director. You ensure the security of the organisation's IT environment and applications, with the support of our IT officer and our IT partners. You encourage and coordinate the improvement of current processes and tools within the organisation in terms of automation and digital innovation: You work side-by-side with our teams to map out the current processes and tools.  You identify opportunities for improvement by developing Power Apps, interfaces, and connectors – not only for financial and administrative tools and processes, but also on the operational side. You budget and prepare the business case to implement the improvements (needed investments, expected returns, timing). You manage the implementation of the improvements (end-users support, quality check…). You provide regular progress reports on your IT projects to the management. You may work with external partners to implement Tech/Finance projects, including AI components. You supervise the work of the IT officer.
