Our client, a European Institution, is looking for an Administrative and Archivist Assistant who speaks English fluently. The temporary job starts as soon as possible. Responsibilities The successful candidate will perform archiving and data input tasks. The candidate will, in particular, have the following responsibilities: • Assess Existing Materials: Review the current collection of paper-based documents • Digitalise the information: when needed, digitise paper documents, ensuring consistent metadata tagging for easy retrieval. • Create detailed records using standardised metadata schemas, enhancing searchability and link digital files to their corresponding catalogue entries. • Ensure user access: comply with internal standards for navigating the digital inventory. • Ensure effective and accurate filing of electronic, hard copy documents, and other information for easy access and retrieval Qualifications: • Certified secondary level education • Any additional certifications indicating specialisation would be an advantage • Excellent knowledge of standard computer tools and MS Office tools (particularly Excel and PowerPoint) • Excellent written and spoken English; knowledge of other EU languages would be an advantage.
