Senior Trader

Gasum is looking for a Senior Trader to join the LNG & Natural Gas team in Espoo or Risavika. The role involves managing LNG procurement and financial positions, as well as the Natural Gas market offering in Finland and the Baltics.

Main responsibilities:

• Proactively manage an assigned book of products by pricing and trading towards customers, counterparts, and trading venues.
• Source LNG in the small-scale segment.
• Support the end-to-end gas value chain and profitability.
• Manage and develop relationships with own counterparties.
• Provide backup and cooperation with colleagues in the LNG and Natural Gas team.

Requirements:

• Minimum 10 years of experience in trading in energy markets.
• Deep understanding of risk management and hedging.
• High level of numeracy and strong analytical skills, combined with a hands-on approach to risk management and optimization practices.
• Strong written and verbal communication in English, with the ability to communicate complex trading challenges to expert peers and senior management.
• Demonstrated history of reaching set P&L goals and KPIs.
• Open-minded, dynamic, flexible, decisive, and result-oriented approach.
