Head of Engineering

Userlink operates AI agents for hundreds of Nordic webshops, processing customer dialogues into structured data. The company is looking for a Head of Engineering to take technical ownership of their platform, which utilizes a stack of Java (Spring Boot), React, MongoDB, and LLMs with vector search.

The Role
You will be responsible for the platform's architecture, code quality, operations, security, and prioritization. This is a hands-on role involving daily development, setting standards for reviews, testing, monitoring, and releases, as well as recruiting new developers.

Profile

• Several years of experience designing and running SaaS systems in production with ownership of architecture and uptime.
• Solid backend experience in Java or C#, plus React.
• Experience shipping LLM-based features to production with systematic evaluation and improvement.
• Proficiency in cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, and incident handling.
• Integration of AI-assisted development into the daily workflow.
