Work tasks: Job Responsibilities * Monitor the spread of misinformation and disinformation across social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Threads, TikTok, and other digital platforms, using Meta Content Library, Meta Fact-Checking tools, and other monitoring systems. * Identify misleading or manipulative content and verify its accuracy using open-source intelligence (OSINT), digital investigations, geolocation, source verification, and other fact-checking methods. * Prepare fact-checking and debunking articles in Georgian and English. Knowledge of Russian is considered an advantage. * Prepare analytical reports and assessments on trends in misinformation, disinformation, and information manipulation. * Monitor and analyze Foreign Information Manipulation and Interference (FIMI) activities affecting democratic institutions, public discourse, and the information environment. * Support the production of multimedia content for fact-checking and counter-disinformation activities. * Manage and publish content on the GeoFacts online platform. * Monitor the TikTok information environment and identify emerging misinformation narratives and coordinated manipulation campaigns. * Prepare misinformation reports and submit them through TikTok’s official reporting and monitoring systems. * Collect, organize, and analyze information related to online influence operations and information manipulation. * Support the preparation of analytical reports, assessments, project deliverables, and other research materials.
