GymAalborg is seeking an experienced and dedicated Head Coach for Women’s Artistic Gymnastics (WAG) to lead and further develop our competitive and talent-based gymnastics program. This is a full-time position (37 hours per week) based in Aalborg, Denmark. ABOUT THE POSITION The Head Coach will be responsible for the sporting and technical coordination of GymAalborg’s Women’s Artistic Gymnastics department, including planning and overseeing training activities for all WAG teams. The role involves close cooperation with the Sports Director and other coaching staff and includes daily training, competition activities, training camps, and development work. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Lead and coordinate the WAG training program (talent and elite levels) Plan and conduct weekly training sessions for WAG athletes (approx. 25 hours per week) Support MAG training activities (approx. 2.5 hours per week) Participate in competitions, training camps (approx. 4 per year), and club events (approx. 5 per year) Develop training plans and long-term athlete development strategies Hold development meetings with athletes and parents Participate in planning and evaluation meetings with the Sports Director and Board Contribute to internal coach education and development activities Support administrative and operational tasks within the WAG department Ensure a safe, structured, and high-quality training environment QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for a coach with: Solid experience in Women’s Artistic Gymnastics (WAG), preferably at competitive or elite level Experience in planning and delivering structured training programs Experience working with children and youth athletes in a competitive environment Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability to work within an organised club structure International coaching experience is an advantage WORKING CONDITIONS Full-time position (37 hours per week) Flexible working hours depending on training, camps, and competitions Evening and weekend work will occur Workplace: Gymnastikkens Hus, Karlskogavej 8, 9200 Aalborg, Denmark Occasional travel for competitions and training camps SALARY Salary according to qualifications Paid monthly in arrears.
