We are looking for top-tier culinary professionals to join our team Ravintola Metsä is the sister restaurant to Le Ankka, a Michelin-Guide-featured restaurant in Helsinki led by Chef Ilkka Lääveri. We bring the same uncompromising quality and ambition to the shores of Lake Saimaa, right in the heart of Finlands most beautiful national landscape. For the right chef, there is also a great opportunity to continue working at Le Ankka in Helsinki after the summer season ends. **Key Responsibilities:** - **Station Responsibility:** You will be responsible for the operations, prep work, and quality of your designated station (e.g., cold dishes, sauces, or hot sides) in accordance with our high standards. - **Domestic Ingredients:** You will work with the finest seasonal Finnish ingredients. The core of our kitchen philosophy is a "farm-to-table" approach: we use local ingredients with true passion. - **Quality Control:** You will ensure that every plate leaving the kitchen represents the shared premium brand of Le Ankka and Ravintola Metsä, even during the busiest hours. **What We Expect From You:** - **Solid Experience:** You have **over 5 years of proven track record and experience in fine dining restaurants**. You possess strong technical skills and a deep understanding of what high-end restaurant work demands. - **Work Experience in Finland:** You have already worked within the Finnish restaurant industry, are familiar with local operational practices, and already hold a valid right to work in Finland. - **Seasonal Adaptability:** You understand the reality of a seasonal restaurant. Summer in Punkaharju is intense and fast-paced – we expect you to maintain your focus and a positive attitude even when the restaurant is fully booked. - **Team Player:** The high season is a team sport.
