About the role As a Commissioning Engineer, you will be responsible for the commissioning of critical diesel backup power generator units and their automation systems in a data center environment. Your task is to ensure the flawless operation and documentation of the systems in close cooperation with an expert team. Work tasks Your duties focus on the commissioning and testing of back up power systems, especially diesel backup power generator units and their control automation, in a data center environment. The work is hands-on and requires precision as well as problem-solving skills. - Commissioning of diesel backup power generator units - Point testing - PLC point testing - Ensuring the functionality of automation and the correctness of software - Troubleshooting and repairs of the aforementioned - Documentation - Depending on your expertise, other possible tasks, for example, in electrical installations or supervision We are looking for - Suitable educational background, for example, in electrical engineering, automation technology, energy technology, or the automotive field - Fluent English language skills; Finnish language skills are considered an advantage - A proactive and persistent attitude It is considered an advantage if you have: - Hobbies or an interest in working with engines - Knowledge of PLC automation or Modbus/Profibus protocols - Knowledge of data center environments - Work experience, for example, from site supervision or electrical installation tasks - Work experience from industrial plant environments Our recruitment process This recruitment process is handled by Academic Work and it is our clients wish that all questions regarding the position is directed to Academic Work.
