1 Global Head of Marketplaces (f/m/d) Your Responsibilities As Global Head of Marketplaces, you own the global strategy and performance of waterdrop's marketplace business across platforms such as Amazon and other third-party marketplaces worldwide. You will lead the global marketplaces team and drive the expansion, profitability, and operational excellence of the channel. Strategic Leadership * Define and execute the global marketplace strategy across regions and platforms. * Own the end-to-end P&L for the marketplace channel, including revenue growth and profitability. * Set performance targets such as revenue, market share, contribution margin and advertising efficiency. * Identify emerging marketplace trends and growth opportunities to ensure waterdrop remains ahead of the competition. Commercial Strategy & Growth * Define the global assortment and portfolio strategy across marketplaces. * Lead the expansion into new marketplaces and international markets. * Oversee and drive marketplace advertising strategies (PPC/DSP) to drive traffic and conversion. * Define pricing and promotional strategies to maximize revenue and profitability. * Develop the long-term marketplace growth roadmap, including platform partnerships and category leadership. Operational Excellence * Oversee the global management of marketplace accounts, ensuring best-in-class execution across listings, content, advertising and customer experience. * Work closely with supply chain and logistics teams to ensure optimal inventory availability across marketplaces. * Establish scalable processes and best practices for listing optimization, pricing, advertising and marketplace operations. Team Leadership * Lead, develop and scale a global team of marketplace experts and regional leads. * Foster a high-performance culture focused on ownership, collaboration and data-driven decision making. * Provide mentorship and career development opportunities for team members. Cross-Functional Collaboration * Act as the central liaison between marketplaces and internal functions such as marketing, supply chain, product, finance and regional sales teams. * Build strong strategic relationships with key marketplace partners (e.g. Amazon). * Align marketplace strategies with global e-commerce and brand initiatives. Performance Monitoring * Track and optimize key marketplace metrics including sales, traffic, conversion rates, advertising efficiency and profitability. * Use data-driven insights to continuously improve performance and drive sustainable growth. * Report marketplace performance and strategic initiatives to senior leadership. Your strengths and qualifications: * You have 5-7 years in e-commerce/marketplaces (Amazon/global platforms preferred). * You show proven international scaling success. * You show strong P&L management and a commercial growth focus. * You have deep knowledge of marketplace strategy: advertising, pricing, assortment, and operations. * You show strong analytical and strategic skills. * You have experience leading high-performing teams. * You show excellent international collaboration and communication. * Yo have startup/high-growth e-commerce experience is a strong plus.
