1 Retail Store Design Manager (m/f/d) Your responsibilities at waterdrop®: As the Retail Store Design Manager, you will oversee the end-to-end design, development, and delivery of Waterdrop® retail environments - flagships, signature stores, shop-in-shops, pop-ups, and kiosks. You will partner closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure all retail spaces reflect our brand values, elevate the customer experience, and meet operational excellence. Project & Design Management * Lead the complete lifecycle of retail design projects - from concept to execution - ensuring alignment with brand guidelines, sustainability principles, budget constraints, and timelines. * Prepare detailed project briefs, design packages, and architectural documentation for new stores and refurbishments across global markets. * Develop smart, scalable solutions for small-scope retail needs, maintenance upgrades, and continuous improvements to existing locations. * Coordinate and execute site surveys, assessing architectural, construction, and other considerations, and providing clear guidance to stakeholders. Cross-Functional Collaboration * Manage relationships with external partners including architects, designers, engineers, lighting consultants, millworkers, and contractors. * Work closely with internal teams including Retail, Expansion, Procurement, Supply Chain, and Brand to ensure project requirements and commercial needs are fully met. * Collaborate with landlords, centre management teams, and local regulatory bodies to ensure all brand, safety, and lease obligations are fulfilled. Financial & Operational Excellence * Oversee project budgeting, quantity surveying, forecasting, and value-engineering efforts to ensure cost-efficient yet premium execution. * Lead the tendering process, evaluate bids, and negotiate with contractors and suppliers. * Ensure all necessary permitting, approvals, and compliance requirements are obtained for construction and store opening. What You Bring: * Demonstrated passion for retail design, customer experience, and delivering meaningful, brand-driven physical spaces. * 3+ years of experience managing multi-site construction or retail design projects (ideally within retail, hospitality, lifestyle, or consumer brands). * Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to manage diverse stakeholders and build strong partnerships with contractors. * High level of autonomy, proactivity, and accountability - capable of balancing multiple projects with tight deadlines. * A practical, analytical, and creative problem-solver with excellent decision-making ability. * Strong attention to detail, time-management skills, and the ability to juggle multiple priorities simultaneously. * A background in Store Design, Interior Design, or a related field. * Fluency in English (written and spoken). * Willingness to travel frequently is a mandatory requirement for this position. The minimum salary for this position is EUR 60.000 gross per year on a full-time basis. Depending on your qualifications, there is the willingness for overpayment.
