As an early childhood education teacher, you will be responsible for implementing pedagogy within your team together with other professionals. Collaboration with families is also an essential part of the role. In our daycare, the skills of every employee are valued, and division of responsibilities is agreed upon together. We ensure a well-functioning structure for teachers planning, evaluation, and development time, and our pedagogical culture is reflected in our commitment to the jointly agreed practices. In our pre-primary education, coteaching plays a key role, and you will be supported by a wide multidisciplinary team of early childhood professionals: a special education teacher, a language and culture teacher, a preparatory education teacher, a school social worker and psychologist, an ECE digital coordinator, and a skilled work community. You will also be supported by the daycare manager and deputy manager, who are always ready to help. Qualification requirements: Early Childhood Education Act (540/2018) § 26 / § 27. The working language is English. The selected candidate must provide the employer with an extract from the criminal records register as specified in section 6, subsection 2 of the Criminal Records Act (Act on Checking the Criminal Background of Persons Working with Children, 504/2002). Experience in pre-primary education is considered an asset.
