About the role This role involves contributing to the development of critical messaging features for our client's net bank and mobile bank web applications. You will be part of a collaborative team of developers and a QA, working on frontend, backend, or full-stack components depending on your skills and interests. As a team, you will take end-to-end responsibility for developing and maintaining core banking messaging features for web platforms, including software development, modernization, maintenance, and bug fixes. We are looking for - Relevant academic degree within IT (e.g. M. Sc. or University of Applied Sciences ) - Fluency in English - For back-end developers: experience and knowledge of Java development and preferably with Spring Boot - For front-end developers: experience and knowledge of Angular and TypeScript - Excellent communication and teamwork skills - Ability to learn new technologies and processes quickly It is meritorious if you have - For back-end developers: knowledge and/or experience with microservices architecture and REST APIs, database concepts (Oracle, Db2), Reactor,JPA/Hibernate, messaging systems (Kafka, MQ), exposure to CI/CD practices - For front-end developers: knowledge and/or experience with unit or end-to-end testing frameworks (e.g., Jasmine, Playwright) To succeed in the role, your personal skills are: - Social - Responsible - Intellectually curious - Respectful team player For at least the first 6 months, you will work on an assignment for our client in the banking industry. A credit check will be conducted for the selected individual.
