For the Ostend site, we are looking for a driven and connecting Prevention Advisor Level 2 Are you a crack at safety, with a big heart for people and the environment? As a Level 2 Prevention Advisor, you play a crucial role, ensuring that our employees can develop their talents in a safe, healthy and sustainable working environment. In this versatile position, you are the point of contact for well-being at work and you take control of our environmental policy. Your responsibilities You will work out the global prevention plan and the annual action plan, follow them up and make adjustments where necessary. You carry out risk analyses (workstations, work equipment, ergonomics) and translate them into concrete, clear and feasible prevention measures that are understandable for our target group employees. You will raise awareness and support employees and managers about safety, health and well-being at work. You advise the management and managers on the application of the welfare legislation. You prepare the CPPW, follow up on the decisions and actions and ensure efficient follow-up. You advise managers on the design of workstations, machines and production processes with an eye for ergonomics and safety. You are the point of contact for the external prevention service and maintain contacts with inspection services. You follow up on environmental permits and environmental legislation and monitor compliance. You will participate in sustainable and environmentally friendly initiatives within the organisation, such as the VCDO programme. You are a visible ambassador within the organization and coach both managers and target group employees. You report to the management. Who are we looking for? You are in possession of the certificate of Additional Training Prevention Advisor Level 2 and can look back on relevant experience. You don't like to sit behind a desk all day, but prefer to be present in the workplace and speak the language of the employees. You work in a structured way and keep an overview of the administrative flow of inspections and permits. You have a good dose of empathy and persuasiveness. You can effortlessly adjust your communication style: from a strategic conversation with the management to an informal toolbox meeting with our employees. You like to take responsibility and work autonomously
