Tasks

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and age-appropriate lessons.
• Adapt the curriculum to meet the needs of all learners.
• Develop relevant instructional materials, resources, and activities.
• Establish and maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Implement effective behaviour management strategies.
• Consult with the school's counselling team regarding students' academic, social, and emotional needs.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to students and parents.
• Collaborate with special education needs teachers to support diverse learning requirements.
• Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding student progress and wellbeing.
• Organise and participate in Parent-Student-Teacher Conferences and school events.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of the school's curriculum.
• Engage in continuous professional development.
• Demonstrate cultural sensitivity and adapt teaching methods to respect student diversity.
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and administrators to create a supportive environment.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and relevant information.
• Adhere to the professional code of ethics for educators.
• Perform other duties as allocated by a supervisor.

• Candidates with subject combinations and qualifications in any of the three subjects are strongly encouraged to apply.

Preferred

• Teaching allocation can be arranged based on individual strengths and experience.
