As a Business Development Manager You develop unique selling propositions in the field of analytical services with a focus on biologics using your knowledge of the (European) biopharmaceutical market. You maintain active relationships with clients and prospects to ensure sales outcome. This includes analytical packages, pricing, regulatory requirements and timing based on close interaction with the customer and internal stakeholders. You report to the Managing Director of AnaBioTec and work with internal stakeholders to design solutions in line with customer needs. You represent AnaBioTec at international industry events, workshops and conferences. You negotiate with prospects and customers to close sales deals. You have scientific and technological insights in biopharmaceutical development. You actively do market prospection identifying new strategic BD areas in line with the overall BD strategy and undertake actions to extend the customer portfolio in this new area. You define strategic partnerships in accordance with our value proposition to broaden the analytical solutions offered to the customers. You have a PhD (e.g. Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Bioengineering) or are equivalent through experience. You have preferably 5 years or more of experience in R&D Pharma or Biotech, with a focus on biologics. Experience in a Business Development role and having a broad network in the life sciences sector is a must. You demonstrate scientific curiosity and thrive in a matrix organization and a dynamic environment. You have excellent communication and collaboration skills. You are flexible, able to work independent, yet also a strong team player. You are fluent in English and you have a working knowledge of Dutch. French is an asset. You are willing to travel occasionally.
