The GLOW project is building a unique business environment and network in South Savo to support the internationalization, product and service development, and market fit of SMEs in the health and wellbeing sector. The GLOW project addresses the challenges of internationalization and business development for wellbeing companies. The project develops testbed and internationalization services based on the double diamond model of service design, enabling companies to achieve faster, more agile, and more sustainable growth in international markets. The outcome will be a network that connects companies, universities, and testbed operators for joint development and knowledge sharing. We are now looking for an RDI Specialist to take on the role of Project Manager for the GLOW project at Xamk. Your workplace will be the Savonniemi campus in Savonlinna. The position is full-time and fixed-term, starting on January 2, 2026, or as agreed. A probationary period applies. What does the position involve? Lead the implementation and project management of the GLOW project from start to finish (1 January 2026 – 30 June 2028). Act as the main contact for companies, international partners, and stakeholders. Actively participate in all work packages (1–5): from project initiation and current state analysis to building the internationalization network and reporting results. Ensure the project progresses according to schedule and budget, and report to funders and stakeholders. Participate, if possible, in a 1–3 month international exchange to familiarize yourself with a testbed partners operations (benchmarking). Promote the development, piloting, and adoption of services and operating models together with the team and network. Why work with us? A relevant Masters degree (e.g., in sports, health, social sciences, business, or technology). Experience in project management, especially in implementing EU/RDF-funded projects. Proven track record in international collaboration and network building. Strong communication and interpersonal skills in Finnish and English. Ability to lead a multidisciplinary team and coordinate large entities. Experience in service design, testbed operations, wellbeing sector business collaboration, and international ecosystems is considered an advantage. What are the steps in the application process?
