Controller / Bookkeeper – Focus on Controlling

Are you numerically strong and do you get energy from analyzing and improving financial processes?  As a Controller / Bookkeeper you monitor the financial health of the organization and support management with insights that contribute to strategic decisions. You work closely with colleagues from finance and operational departments, giving you a broad view of the business. Your tasks: Preparing and analyzing reports, budgets and forecasts. Monitoring results and identifying trends and deviations. Coordinate monthly, quarterly and year-end closings. Ensuring compliance with laws and regulations within reporting. Improving and implementing internal controls and processes. Optimizing debtor management and follow-up. Advising management on cost control and profitability. Perform ad hoc reports and analyses. Requirements Bachelor's degree in an economic field or equivalent by experience. At least 2 years of experience in a similar role (experience in automotive is a plus). Strong analytical skills and an eye for detail. Assertive, communicative and able to challenge managers. Networker with the ability to explain financial information clearly. Proactive, result-oriented and a real team player. Affinity with operational processes and feeling for the business. Accurate in the delivery of data and reports.
