Engineer - Power System Analytics

Join the System Operations organisation at Energinet's head office in Fredericia. You will contribute to the secure and stable operation of the Danish power system, focusing on methods, analyses, and digital solutions that support system stability, security of supply, and the management of major disturbances in an increasingly renewable-based grid.

Main Tasks

• Analysing power system dynamics, stability, and disturbance events using PowerFactory and PSCAD.
• Developing and applying methods based on PMU and other operational measurement data.
• Identifying stability risks and proposing mitigation measures in collaboration with operational specialists.
• Supporting the digitalisation and automation of processes related to Dynamic Stability Assessment.
• Collaborating with operational specialists, software developers, researchers, and external partners across the Nordic and European power sector.

Requirements

• Relevant background in electrical engineering, power systems, or a related technical discipline.
• Open to both newly graduated candidates and those with some professional experience.
• Experience with power system analysis, dynamic simulations, PowerFactory, programming, measurement data, or digital tool development is an advantage.
• Strong curiosity, structured thinking, and a keen desire to learn.
• Ability to work both independently on complex technical questions and as part of a collaborative team.
