Nature Guides and Wilderness Guides for winter 2026–2027
Main duties
Guiding Northern Lights (Aurora) hunting tours and other snowmobile safaris
Leading outdoor and nature activities, such as ice fishing and snowshoe hiking
Organising experiences for individuals and groups, including preparing campfires and outdoor rest stops
Preparing, maintaining and cleaning equipment, including thermal overalls, snowshoes, skis and snowmobiles, as well as refuelling snowmobiles
Ensuring customer safety throughout all activities by providing safety briefings, supervising participants, promoting safe and responsible snowmobile driving, and completing required safety and liability documentation
Delivering high-quality customer service to international guests while creating memorable cultural and nature-based experiences
Carrying out other duties assigned by the employer that are consistent with the position
Assets
Previous experience as an adventure guide or an authorised city guide
Emergency First Aid certificate or equivalent
French language skills
Education in archaeology, anthropology or cultural heritage
