Product Developer – Asian Foods

**Ai-To Foods Oy** is seeking a **Product Developer** to strengthen our growing production and product development team. We are looking for a practical and motivated professional with experience in **Siamese (Thai) cuisine and the food industry**. In this role, you will participate in the development of new products, support production operations, and contribute to quality and food safety processes. The position is largely hands-on and production-oriented but also includes a variety of responsibilities related to product development, quality control, and self-monitoring systems. We are looking for someone who understands authentic Asian flavors and ingredients and can apply that knowledge to products intended for the retail market. Key Responsibilities - Develop, test, and improve new Asian food products - Prepare and develop sauces, marinades, curry pastes, and seasoning blends - Participate in daily food production activities - Maintain product specifications and recipes - Evaluate and test raw materials and ingredients - Implement and document food safety and self-monitoring procedures - Ensure compliance with hygiene and food safety standards - Support the improvement of production processes - Assist with product labeling and technical documentation - Cooperate with suppliers, customers, laboratories, and regulatory authorities Requirements - Experience in Siamese (Thai) cuisine and the food industry - Strong knowledge of Thai ingredients, seasonings, sauces, and flavor profiles - Practical experience in food preparation or food manufacturing - Food hygiene certification or equivalent food safety training - Self-motivation and a responsible work attitude - Ability to work independently as well as part of a team - Attention to detail and good organizational skills - Good English language skills Considered an Advantage - Experience in food product development - Knowledge of recipe costing and profitability calculations - Experience with nutritional and allergen information - Understanding of HACCP systems and food safety management - Thai language skills - Experience developing products for retail and grocery markets We Offer - A diverse role in a growing food manufacturing company - The opportunity to participate in the development of new products from concept to launch - Varied responsibilities across production and product development - A small, flexible, and entrepreneurial working environment - Opportunities to develop your skills and influence the future product portfolio of the company
