Housekeeping Assistant with Guitarist Performance Duties Location: Marstal, Ærø, Denmark Employer: Ærø Hotel Employment Type: Full-time Start Date: As soon as possible Live and Work on a Beautiful Danish Island Ærø Hotel is looking for a dedicated and service-minded employee to join our team in a unique combined role as a Housekeeping Assistant and Pianist. This position is perfect for someone who enjoys both hospitality and music. Most of your working hours will be spent within our housekeeping department, while selected afternoons and evenings will be dedicated to playing piano in our restaurant and bar area, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for our guests. About Ærø Hotel Ærø Hotel is a family-owned and family-operated hotel located on the island of Ærø in southern Denmark. We offer 100 guest rooms and welcome approximately 35,000 overnight guests every year. During the high season, our team consists of up to 50 employees from several different countries. Our guests are primarily adult leisure travellers who appreciate good food, personal service, beautiful surroundings, and live entertainment. The working language at the hotel is English. Your Responsibilities Housekeeping Cleaning guest rooms and public areas Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation Assisting with laundry and housekeeping tasks Helping ensure a comfortable stay for our guests Piano Performance Playing guitar during selected afternoons and evenings Creating a pleasant atmosphere in the restaurant and bar area Performing a varied repertoire suitable for a mature audience Contributing to the overall guest experience through live music We Are Looking For Someone Who Can play piano confidently in front of guests Speaks English Is reliable, hardworking, and service-minded Enjoys working as part of an international team Has a positive attitude and good interpersonal skills Has previous housekeeping experience (preferred but not required) Holds an EU passport or has the legal right to work in Denmark We Offer Full-time employment An international workplace with colleagues from several countries Stable year-round employment A unique opportunity to combine hospitality work with music A beautiful workplace on one of Denmark’s most charming islands Supportive management and a friendly working environment Salary and Working Hours DKK 125 per hour before tax Plus 12.5% holiday allowance Average working hours: 135–180 hours per month Staff Accommodation Accommodation is available approximately 10 minutes’ walk from the hotel.
