This is not your typical retail position. Boxilo is a new company currently under development. In the early stages, the founders manage operations remotely and are responsible for areas such as procurement and supplier relationships. You will play a key role in the stores daily operations ensuring everything runs smoothly on-site. We are looking for someone who wants to take responsibility, make independent decisions, and genuinely contribute to building a functional and welcoming store. Our goal is a long-term employment relationship, with opportunities to grow as the company expands. What will you be doing? You will be responsible for the daily operations of the store and the customer experience. The role is diverse and hands-on. Your tasks include: - Opening and closing the store - Customer service and sales - Ensuring smooth day-to-day store operations - Product display and maintaining the stores appearance - Inventory monitoring and stock control - Cash handling and sales reporting - Receiving deliveries and communicating with suppliers - Developing operational practices during the startup phase - Independently solving practical day-to-day issues What kind of person are we looking for? You may be the right fit if you: - Have experience in retail, customer service, hospitality, or a similar field - Are reliable, responsible, and self-initiated - Work efficiently on your own - Enjoy customer interaction and have a sales-oriented mindset - Are practical and organized - Have a solution-oriented attitude - Thrive in a flexible and evolving environment - Communicate fluently in Finnish and English (Swedish is a plus) Working hours Full-time position, 37.5 hours per week. The daily working hours below are indicative exact schedules will be agreed upon when operations begin. - Mon-Fri: shifts between 10:00-19:00 (primarily 11:00-18:00) - Sat: 11:00-18:00 (one of the most important sales days of the week) What we offer - Salary according to the Finnish retail sector collective agreement - Fixed monthly salary of €2600-2800 (gross) - Additional compensation depending on shifts - Work from Monday to Saturday - Opportunity to grow with the company and develop in the role Interested?
