(Ship Repair / Shipbuilding Industry) Work tasks: * Organizing and managing the work of the mechanical department within ship repair projects; * Planning, assigning, and supervising mechanical works in dry dock and afloat repair projects; * Supervising mechanics, fitters, and subcontractors; * Organizing defect inspection, dismantling, repair, and installation of ship machinery and equipment; * Quality control of repairs for main and auxiliary engines, pumps, gearboxes, shaft lines, steering systems, and deck machinery; * Ensuring compliance with project deadlines and production discipline; * Participating in preparation of work scopes, manpower estimation (man-hours), and evaluation of additional works; * Cooperating with the project manager, client, superintendent, and classification society representatives; * Monitoring compliance with occupational health and safety requirements; * Preparing work progress reports and documentation.
