Tandoor Chef – Job Overview We are looking for a skilled Tandoor Chef to prepare authentic Indian dishes using traditional clay oven techniques. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with tandoor cooking, strong attention to detail, and a passion for delivering high-quality food. Main Duties Cook a range of tandoori items including meats, breads, and vegetables with consistent taste and presentation Prepare marinades, spice blends, and ingredients to ensure authentic flavors Operate and manage the tandoor oven safely and efficiently Maintain cleanliness and follow all food safety standards Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering ingredients Work with the kitchen team to introduce new dishes and seasonal items Ensure timely preparation and quality of all orders Requirements Experience as a Tandoor Chef or similar role Good knowledge of tandoor techniques, spices, and marinades Ability to handle a fast-paced kitchen environment Understanding of hygiene and food safety practices Skills Strong cooking and knife skills Good organization and multitasking ability Passion for Indian cuisine and presentation
