Our growing and developing upper secondary education employs 350 experts dedicated to building students futures. In addition to providing high-quality and diverse general education, Tampere upper secondary schools have five special educational missions: visual arts and design, sports, natural sciences, music and musical theatre, and the English-language International Baccalaureate (IB). The schools also offer other curriculum-based specialisations, including mathematics and technology, communication, social sciences, skateboarding, a bilingual Finnish-English study programme and as a new programme a fully English study programme. The role of the upper secondary education administration is to support the daily operations of the schools. As an intern, you will participate in a wide range of administrative tasks in upper secondary education. During the internship, you will update various guides and handbooks, produce information materials, and familiarise yourself with other administrative functions such as HR and recruitment, the development of high-quality learning, and communications. You will primarily be involved in administrative tasks related to Pyynikki Upper Secondary School and Tampereen lyseon lukio upper secondary school. (Bilingual Finnish-English programme, English Study Programme and IB Programme) Good digital skills, initiative and flexibility will help you succeed in this role. We would prefer you to have completed a bachelors degree. It is considered an advantage if you have knowledge of the Finnish or international education system and pedagogical competence.
