We are looking for you, Senior Lecturer, Information and Communication Technology Join the inspiring team at Centria University of Applied Sciences as a Lecturer in Information and Communication Technology! We're looking for an enthusiastic Lecturer for a permanent position starting on August 1, 2026. If you're passionate about shaping the future of ICT, this is the perfect opportunity for you. Your tasks as Senior Lecturer include teaching of bachelor level ICT courses, these courses are chosen based on your expertise, guiding of thesis works, participating in degree program development and other academic tasks. You will continuously develop and maintain working life networks and your own competence. Additionally, you will engage in international and RDI activities. Together with your team, you actively participate in the planning, organization and development of ICT education and related activities. The detailed plan of the tasks is defined in an annual working time plan. We offer a comfortable working environment and flexibility to work. Teaching takes place on the Kokkola campus and online, but assignments can also be on the Pietarsaari and Ylivieska campuses and in our global cooperation networks. In addition, we require willingness to travel. The working language is English. There will also be teaching at evening. We require · An appropriate master's degree. · Good ICT (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.) skills · Good knowledge of fundamentals of information technology (networking, software development, databases, etc...) · A pedagogical qualification or readiness to complete it within 3 years of selection · Expertise in industrial ICT projects · Deep knowledge from some specific ICT topc: software development, cybersecurity, IoT or some other · Work experience in Education and the ICT sector is considered as benefit We also appreciate · Good communication and cooperation skills · Active networking · A motivation to develop your competence · We hope that you will be able to use a wide range of methods and tools in teaching We will help you get a residence permit and we have good integration services in the area.
