Are you a skilled and flexible technician with practical experience in trucks and trailers? For one of our clients, we are looking for an independent Truck Technician who is committed to ensuring that heavy vehicles remain safe, reliable, and fully operational. Your Responsibilities ✅Carry out preventive maintenance and repair work on trucks and trailers of various brands ✅Perform routine service tasks such as oil replacements, brake maintenance, and pre-operational inspections ✅Independently identify and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical malfunctions ✅Use diagnostic equipment to detect, evaluate, and resolve technical issues ✅Provide on-site support and carry out tail lift repairs when necessary ✅Inspect, test, and fine-tune braking systems to guarantee optimal performance ✅Keep the workshop clean, structured, and compliant with safety standards ✅Handle tools, machinery, and personal protective equipment in a safe and professional manner ✅Clearly report completed tasks and technical observations to colleagues and customers - Vaardigheden: You have a passion for commercial vehicles and their technology At least several years of experience as a car mechanic Perform independent maintenance and repairs Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults Use diagnostic computers and read vehicle systems Problem-solving and attention to detail Work safely with tools and personal protective equipment You communicate effectively with colleagues and customers You are positive, professional team player - Attesten: A category B driving licence is required; categories C or C+E are considered an advantage. - Opleidingsvereisten: Study level A3/A2 car mechanics or equivalent through experience Study level Bachelor Automotive Technology or equivalent through experience - Vakkennis: Technical knowledge of trucks, trailers, brakes, and hydraulic systems Experience with diagnostic equipment and interpreting electrical schematics Understanding of maintenance and repair techniques for heavy vehicles Knowledge of preparing vehicles for operation and performing roadside assistance Insight into brake systems and tail lifts - Talenkennis: Communicative English skills at B1 - B2 level
