For our client in the banking sector we are looking for a Front-End Developer. Description of the tasks: Working with business users to develop the overall look and design of our websites Ensuring that user experience determines design choices Developing features to enhance the user experience Ensuring web design is optimized for multiple platforms – laptops and smartphones Striking a balance between functional and aesthetic design Building reusable code for future use Optimizing web pages for maximum speed and scalability Utilizing a variety of markup languages to write web pages Maintaining brand consistency throughout design Must-have knowledge and experience: 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Front-End Developer High competence with the Angular framework Proficiency with HTML, CSS, JavaScript and jQuery Understanding of server-side CSS/SCSS Understanding of key design principles Experience with graphic design applications such as Adobe Illustrator Experience with responsive and adaptive design Understanding of SEO principles Good problem-solving skills Excellent verbal communication skills and ability to explain complex concepts clearly Good interpersonal skills Willingness to take responsibility Goal-oriented with a proven track record of delivering results Nice-to-have knowledge and experience: Nordea experience Experience with Credit Customer Journeys Answer these questions separately in a few sentences and attach them to your application! - Do you have at least 5 years of hands-on experience working as a Front-End Developer?* - Do you have strong, practical experience working with the Angular framework?* - Are you proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery?* - Do you have experience creating responsive and adaptive designs for both desktop and mobile?* - Have you worked with CSS/SCSS on the server side and understand key design principles?* - Do you have experience with graphic design tools such as Adobe Illustrator?* Location: Helsinki, Finland (hybrid, 2–3 days on-site) Allocation: 100 % Start date: 2.3.2026 End date: 26.2.2027 Language: Fluent in English We offer you: We offer a versatile assignment where every day is different and interesting.
