You'll work primarily on iOS and Android, likely expanding to desktop later. This role suits someone who likes taking initiative, enjoys figuring out how things should work, collaborates actively with backend engineers and designers, and cares about performance, detail, and user experience. We place high value on appreciation for the design side of things—UX concepts, attention to visual detail, and staying current with industry-leading design systems. You won't just implement tickets—you'll help define how the product works. We're looking for someone who's proactive in discussions, contributes ideas beyond their immediate tasks, and takes an active role in shaping the development of the entire product. When you see something that could be better, we expect you to speak up and help us figure out the right approach together. --- What You'll Do - Build core features in the Rise mobile app - Turn design specs into polished, reliable UI with fluid UX - Collaborate with backend developers on APIs - Improve app structure, quality, and consistency - Handle edge cases, error states, and performance considerations - Participate in product discussions and shape feature behavior - Experiment with AI tools to accelerate and improve your work --- Tech Environment You'll work with Flutter and Dart, REST APIs, secure authentication flows, and local data storage solutions like Hive. We use modern development tooling including Git, CI/CD pipelines, Figma, and Linear. AI-assisted development with Cursor, Claude Code, and similar tools is part of how we work.
