Operator
As a Yard Driver / Compound Driver, you are responsible for moving vehicles safely and efficiently within our compound. You ensure that vehicles are in the right place at the right time and thus support the entire logistics process. Your responsibilities: Internal vehicle movement Driving vehicles from point A to point B within the compound (parking zones, workshops, PDI hall, loading areas). Delivery of vehicles to: PDI stations Washing and cleaning department Inspection areas Stock locations Correct positioning for transport Placing vehicles in the correct lines for outgoing trucks. Check that model, VIN and specifications match the load list. Inspecting the supplied volume per truck for possible damage. Administration & systems Working with a scanner. Update the system after each vehicle movement to ensure a correct yard inventory. Safety & traffic management Compliance with low speed limits within the compound. Be alert to distance, mirrors, blind spots and zones with pedestrians, trucks and machines. Safety always comes first. Special situations Moving non-starters or damaged vehicles. Coordinate with technical teams or use tools (such as a booster) when vehicles do not start or drive. Support Actively supporting general compounding activities where necessary.
