Team Leader, Packaging Department

This department is known for strong employee engagement and consistently high performance. The packaging team plays a key role in our operations, handling eggs from our contract producers and contributing significantly to the success of the Laitila Factory. We are looking for a people-oriented leader who trusts and empowers shift leaders and values their process expertise. The ideal candidate has prior experience working with multicultural teams and possesses a human-centered approach to leadership. In this role, you will be responsible for leading and developing the team and its members, ensuring occupational well-being, improving packaging line operations, and achieving production and financial targets. We are seeking a food industry professional with a relevant bachelors degree or equivalent education and a proven track record in the food sector. To succeed in this position, you should have: A coaching leadership style with strong communication and organizing skills Experience in quality and sustainability management in a production environment; familiarity with standards such as FSSC 22000, IFS Wholesale, Sedex, or Ecovadis is an advantage Good written and spoken English and Finnish Ability and experience in promoting inclusion and human agency A natural willingness to support others A proactive and independent approach to problem-solving Readiness to adapt in rapidly changing situations Motivation to develop operations collaboratively with colleagues
